FATHER’S HOUSE MINISTRIES

Our heart’s desire is to see our children grow to know the love and goodness of God, and to walk in confidence, knowing that they are significant in Him. At Father’s House, our kids spend their Sundays together in a fun and exciting environment where they discover and learn about God and themselves. Our teachers are attentive and their desire is to make every child seen and taken care of. Currently, our Kingdom Kids class takes place after worship, and is for children who are toddlers through 5th grade.

Something powerful happens when men and women gather together and pursue the Lord in a spirit of unity. At Father’s House, we provide opportunities for the women to grow and encourage each other through activities such as worship nights, brunch, retreats, and dessert nights, while the men enjoy activities such as campouts, morning prayer groups, and breakfasts. All of these events build trust and help strengthen one another in every portion of their lives.

MVMT (Movement) is our youth & young adults group, who gather to build relationships with each other and with God. They are passionate about pursuing the presence of God. They desire to walk out the prophetic promises of their life and generation. They are a force of empowered and equipped people, who are being used to extend the Kingdom of God. Their heart is to see this generation encounter God and be set free.

We love to serve our city. Over the years, we’ve had the honor of providing for felt needs and assisting various groups in the Portland Metro area, from students to professionals, and from the police to the homeless. Currently, one of our focuses is an outreach to the Dignity Village Community. Every Saturday, from 1:30 PM to 3 PM, a team provides food, conversation, prayer, and support to the people living in this area.

RE:FORM is a way for our church to bring reformation to different parts of the city and different cultural mountains of society. Our goal is to rally around different people in the church body who have current open doors of influence, and to give them support in occupying those places. We have a churchwide quarterly focus where we pray for specific needs and serve in practical ways to see Kingdom transformation in specific people and places.

One of the most effective ways of staying connected in the church and finding support is through our community groups. Sometimes it’s hard to develop strong relationships if we only rely on a Sunday gathering to get to know people, so we encourage everyone to find a group to help maintain a sense of community and belonging.
